From your first contact with Nexus, you’ll see we’re different.

We make it easy for you to get the help your child needs

We are dedicated to our mission of “Changing Lives Through Our Cornerstone Values of Honesty, Responsibility, Courage, Care & Concern.” Everyone you meet at Nexus believes that all children must be treated with dignity and respect. We operate from a sense of optimism for the future, and we strive to exemplify the highest ethical and moral standards in our treatment.

We partner with you to more effectively treat your child

Nexus has begun a Family Partnership Initiative to engage families in a youth’s treatment from intake throughout the treatment process. The desired end result is to return youth to their home or to a place of permanency following treatment and/or create a stronger support network for youth for continued discharge success.

With this new initiative, family will be included in the milieu and policy-making decisions, and the Nexus family treatment model will center on skill development, increased family inclusion, connecting families to community partners, and having a community presence with families.

The implementation of the Family Partnership Initiative is a work in progress and will be phased in and massaged at the site level over several years.  Please read the Family Partnership Initiative brochure to learn more about Nexus’ dedication to the family.

We offer a continuum of care to treat your child from start to finish

We collaborate to develop and support healthy teams and partnerships with you and your child through a continuum of diversified services including residential treatment programs, group home living programs, transitional living programs, specialized foster care, in-home counseling services, alternative to residential treatment services, adoption, inpatient acute psychiatric care, referrals to other treatment providers, and ongoing support to youth and families.

Our programming is nationally reknowned

Our programming treats harmful sexual behaviors, emotional and behavioral disorders, chemical health, developmental disabilities, Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Reactive Attachment Disorders, and trauma-based mental health issues.
