Nexus: A Leader in Residential Treatment Services for 40 Years

Nexus, a nonprofit, 501(C)3 organization, has been a leader in youth residential treatment services for nearly 40 years. Beginning in the early 1970s as a small, adult male felon program in Minnesota, Nexus services evolved over the years to specialize in serving children and adolescents.

Throughout the 1990s, our locations grew to two states and five specialized treatment areas. Today, we are known as a national leader in providing residential treatment services for youth who have exhibited

• - harmful sexual behaviors,
• - behavioral or emotional disorders,
• - developmental disability with harmful
  sexual behaviors or behavioral disorders,
• - or who require intensive inpatient psychiatric care.

• Onarga Academy in Onarga, IL
• Indian Oaks Academy in Manteno, IL
