Unit Coordinator

STATUS: Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide leadership to direct care staff through effective communication, organization and planning of the daily operations of the program. Prepare staff schedules for Counselors, Sr. Counselors, Case Managers and Sr. Case Managers in a timely, proactive manner to ensure adequate staff/resident ratios at all times and to maximize the treatment process and safety of the residents. Assist in the planning and scheduling of the resident's daily treatment services and ensure transportation needs are met, as well as the scheduling of special events, functions and program trips. Assist the Clinical Supervisor with staff supervision and in assuring all program documentation is completed in a timely manner. Assist the Clinical Supervisor in the development and establishment of operational procedures and systems for the program that contribute to efficient and effective delivery of treatment services to residents. Assist the Clinical Supervisor in evaluating long-term changes that support the therapeutic treatment process.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a social work, psychology or clinically-related field. Minimum of 3 years job related experience in adolescent counseling and/or residential treatment program experience required, plus 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
