Types of Treatment Programs
Nexus designs and operates a wide range of treatment programs for children and adolescents who have engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior, experienced sexual victimization, exhibited severe behavioral problems, or participated in a variety of antisocial behaviors.
Supporting Growth and Change
All Nexus treatment programs provide a safe and nurturing environment
to assist youth while they transition through three distinct phases of
treatment:
- Identifying and accepting specific issues
- Integrating and practicing new knowledge, skills and behaviors
- Re-entering the community
Aftercare and Follow-Up
All residential treatment sites provide discharge and placement services
for youth re-entering communities. In addition, the sites remain in contact
with youth for up to three years after discharge to monitor progress,
provide support and make additional referrals if needed.
