Education: On-site educational services are incorporated into the treatment programs and is fully accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and works in cooperation with the local public school district #492.

Licensing: Accredited by Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA) and licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Gerard Academy, a member of the Nexus family of treatment programs, provides residential treatment for males and females ages six to their 19th birthdays.

The campus is situated on the former Hormel Estate, a 12–acre site adjacent to a nature preserve, approximately two hours south of Minneapolis in Austin, Minnesota.

Gerard Academy's treatment team is led by Executive Director Brent Henry, Clinical Director Pam Retterath and Administrative Services Director Kay Stiles.
