Mille Lacs Academy offers highly effective treatment programs for male adolescents who have engaged in unhealthy sexual behavior and exhibit a wide variety of emotional and behavioral problems.

Mille Lacs Academy offers 30-day psychosexual assessments as well as treatment programs ranging from 30 days to 14 months, dependent upon the individual's needs. The average length of stay is 12 months.

Usually, a referral source, such as a probation officer, social worker or therapist or attorney, for example, will refer a child to residential treatment. Mille Lacs Academy admissions criteria are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Admissions staff can help families find assistance to finance treatment, if needed. Some health insurance policies offer coverage for our programs, for example, since Mille Lacs Academy is a licensed and accredited provider of residential treatment.
