Alternative to Residential Treatment
The Family Focus Alternative to Residential Treatment (ART) program offers youth
an intensive treatment environment provided by experienced foster parents with specific
areas of expertise. The program offers increased supervision, a structured living
environment, and independent living skills training. Appropriate referrals include
ajudicated delinquents, chemically dependent youth, and any other youth needing
an intensive treatment model.
The Alternative to Residential Treatment program may be used as an alternative to
residential placement or as an aftercare program for chemically dependent, seriously
and emotionally disturbed youth, or any other youth needing an intensive treatment
program. Experienced social workers provide weekly case management and ongoing therapy
to youth in placement.
