Welcome to Woodbourne Center
An Integrated System of Care for Youth & Families
Woodbourne provides an integrated system of care for children and their families
involved in the child welfare system, the juvenile justice system, and in mental
health programs.
A private nonprofit organization, Woodbourne has provided treatment services to
children for more than two centuries. Today, we continue to support and care for
children in difficult circumstances with a program mix that is both current and
responsive to those we serve.
Children are linked to a compassionate chain of adults who work together to provide
an integrated system of care to children and families.
Woodbourne offers an array of high-quality services for children and families. It
is our goal to give children the tools and skills they need to successfully return
to their homes and communities.
Woodbourne Center is accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of Human Resources. The
Woodbourne School is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education.
